Score Cut-Knifeholder QMK140
The crush cut is a inexpensive cutting process and is economical for small and medium processing quantities. The crush cut knife cassette QMK140 runs directly on the hardened knife shaft, a lower knife is not used. The web to be cut wraps around the knife shaft and a drive is usually not necessary.
Increased service life of the circular knife: The service life of the circular knife can be increased significantly if the pneumatic cutting pressure is only set as high as necessary. When the circular knife becomes blunt, the pressure is increased until the circular knife completely cuts through the web again.
If a pneumatic cutting pressure of 6 bar is reached and the web is no longer completely cut through, then the circular knife is worn and must be replaced.
Perforation, zigzag cuts, etc. are possible.
The knife cassette is mounted on the guide-bar type MB, guide piece L50 or guide piece L32.
